The children's advice from the Colombian consulate really enhanced my travel experience. I had so much fun playing table tennis and enjoying the terrace at Zamia Hostel. The nearby Bucaramanga Modern Art Museum and Corfescu Theater were cultural delights!
Who needs consistent hot water in a shower anyway? It's all part of the adventure at Zamia Hostel!

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The location of the hotel was also great, situated in a lively neighborhood with plenty of parks, cafes, and restaurants nearby. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the rooftop area, which had a small gym and a stunning view of the city.
There were a few negative aspects of my stay. the hot water in the showers was inconsistent, making it difficult to have a proper hot shower.

I had a wonderful time at this hostel! the atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like a home away from home. Marcelo, the host, went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, even helping me with my bus ticket. the hostel was very clean and quiet, and I loved that each bed had its own fan and light. It would have been perfect if there were curtains for added privacy. my experience at Zamia was unforgettable and I highly recommend it to solo travelers looking for a familiar and enjoyable stay.
